Learn how to create and make your own needle felted hare in this creative two-day workshop.

The workshop will be held in my studio in the beautiful north Northumberland countryside, based on an organic farm situated between Wooler and Berwick upon Tweed.

On day one you will have an introduction to the tools and materials used and will learn some of the basic techniques required to felt and sculpt wool. You will then learn how to shape a wire armature upon which you will build up the layers of needle-felted wool that will eventually become your own brown hare.

During the later part of day 1, you will start to see the shape of your hare emerging and day two will be spent creating the rest of the shape, colour and finer details to bring your creature to life !

A vegetarian lunch and hot / cold drinks will be provided on both days. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking.

Course timings 10:00 - 16:00 each day.

The minimum number of attendees required for course to run is x 3 with a maximum number x 6.

Please note that if the minimum required number is not reached 7 daysbefore the course is due to start, you will receive a refund or the option to move your booking to an alternative date.
